Okay so right after the session, I actually felt very sick.

But as weird as this may sound...I truly believe something came out of me that day.

All the negativity that my own mind had thought up or the negativity that others have put into my head, it all left. I own my feelings and happiness. No one else can control that. And no matter how many times I’ve heard those negative comments and even for future negative comments, rise above Stephanie because you are beautiful, you are strong, and you can do this!

I don’t think I’m saying doing this boudoir was gonna answer my prayers to make me confident and powerful but to let me SEE myself through the eye of another and see that the person from 20 years ago is still in there.

The confidence, the spirituality, the "I don’t care what you think of me" is still somewhere in there.

AND I SAW IT....

First off, my initial reason for scheduling my session was because I was supposed to be getting married. And that just isn’t in the cards yet. Secondly I put on twenty pounds due to quarantine, which of course made me beyond self conscious. I was literally disgusted with myself. I had a mental breakdown and CRIED on the way to my session.

I am 28 with two kids. I work for loan operations of a bank. I am an outgoing person but when it comes to sexy I am very shy. I was so nervous I did not know what to expect or how I would do posing for pictures. That and I hate pictures of myself and don’t find myself sexy.

I’m a music-loving, 90’s anything obsessed, 29-year-old small business owner. I have 3 adorable dogs and a hunk of a husband. I’m so happy I’m finally able to be unapologetically myself after so many years of caring SO MUCH what I should do, wear, look like, act like, and all the other bullshit we convince ourselves matters.

Consider how much you feel down about yourself, cause really, who doesn’t? Then think for just a moment having a wave of confidence wash over you and imagine how peaceful that can be... well it’s possible.. and a boudoir shoot with Molly is exactly what to do to get there!

I almost canceled everything I was going to do for myself. I fell into a deep depression in 2018. I was going through a lot medically, that I had just given up on the most important thing in life, ME.

I was celebrating myself. My life has been a roller-coaster from hell. I needed to accept me, and love me, and release all of the hatred and anger towards the people who hurt me. I needed to take back my sensuality, my sexuality. Own it. I was celebrating life. Releasing the negativity to be cleansed by the earth, with every snap of the camera I felt lighter.

My intention was to take pictures to help me love myself again. Not only do I love myself but I’m freaking ART - A GODDESS. I just had to have a little direction to realize how pretty and amazing my body is.

I feel like I crossed something off of my bucket list. More importantly, however, I learned that Im objectively a total smoke show... even though I don't always feel like it.

I have always had body image issues. I purged a meal for the first time when I was nine years old and have on and off struggled with bulimia and restricting food ever since. When I got pregnant I knew that the changes my body was about to go through would be hard on me. I obsessively weighed myself in the beginning and struggled with having to make sure I ate enough since I was so used to starving myself. Booking a session with Molly was one of the ways I tried to embrace motherhood and my changing body.

The first few camera clicks and I was a hot mess. I had definitely forgotten how to be sexy. I was awkward but Molly was so gracious and I was able to listen to how she was coaching me a long. Then moving became easier, I settled into myself.

Why was I doing this then? Why was I spending a fuck ton of money on something that I already look at in the mirror and HATE daily? It made no sense and I almost canceled.
